Overview

The BAHA, pronounced Baja, or Bio-mechanically Aligned Harness Anchor is a high strength, lightweight, non-metallic prosthetic component designed to improve Figure 8 Harness dynamics. The BAHA eliminates the ring!The BAHA improves the bio-mechanics of the Figure 8 Harness.Optimizes the harness axilla angle. Provides a more efficient cable control pathway.

Conceived and designed by Bob Radocy of TRS Inc., the BAHA is an evolution of the VADR, Vertically Arrayed Dual Ring Harness, conceived and designed by Randy Alley. The VADR was described in Clinical Matters, Alley, Randall D., “Addressing the Limitations of the Northwestern Ring Harness”, O & P Business News, April 15th, 2003. Randall Alley, CP., FAAOP was consulted throughout the BAHA’s design and manufacturing process.

*A restock fee of 10% will be issued on all returns unless a substitute product is purchased. A 25% restock fee will be issued on all Grip 5 and Ener-Joint returns.

TRS products are available in Canada through a distribution arrangement with Myrdal Orthopedic Technologies (MOT) of Winnipeg, Manitoba. MOT serves prosthetic and orthotic facilities throughout Canada and stocks a broad variety of TRS products. MOT coordinates the “Customs Clearance” required on prosthetic goods imported into Canada.
